This Privacy Policy covers our collection, use and disclosure of information we collect through our websites: *.cartender.co and *.cartender.com; our products: Player, Publisher, and Page, and our services: Advertising, APIs and Creative (“Services”). The use of information collected through our Services shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service for which the Client has engaged Cartender.
The Services use YouTube API Services. Data obtained from the YouTube API Services is subject to the Google Privacy Policy at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy. For more information on what information the Service accesses, collects, stores and otherwise uses from the YouTube API services, see the Collecting and Using Data from the YouTube API Services below.
Information Related to Data Collected for our Clients
Service Provider Collection and Use
Cartender collects information under the direction of its Clients, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes.
Choice
We collect information for our clients, if you are a customer of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our Clients that use our service, please contact the Client that you interact with directly.
Service Provider/Onward Transfer
Cartender may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to these third parties are covered by the provisions in this policy regarding notice and choice and the service agreements with our Clients.
Access to Data Controlled by our Clients
Cartender has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to the Cartender’s Client (the data controller). If the Client requests Cartender to remove the data, we will respond to their request within 30 business days.
Data Retention
Cartender will retain personal data we process on behalf of our Clients and for as long as needed, provide services to our Client. Cartender will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Termination
Cartender requires a written 30-day notice for termination of products, services, or client information. Please contact billing[at]cartender.com for additional information.
Collecting and Using Data from the YouTube API Services
Types of Data Collected
When using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with permission to access YouTube API Data from the YouTube API Services. This includes:
- Channels associated with your Google Account
- Videos associated with your YouTube channels
Information accessed via the YouTube API Services is never shared with internal or external parties.

Content Owners associated with your Google account
A list of Content Owners associated with your Google account is automatically retreived when You log in to the Service.
This is used for the purpose of restricing Your access to the Service, and ensuring that You are only able to access data relating to YouTube Content Owners to which You have access.
This information is refreshed every time You log in to the Service.
You can revoke access to this information at any time via the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
This information can be deleted by choosing the “Sign out and delete account” option while logged in to the Service. After choosing this option, data will be deleted as soon as possible and no later than 7 days.
Information obtained from the YouTube API Services
We use information obtained from the YouTube API Services to provide features of Our Service. Specifically enabling automatic uploads of video content that You generate with the Services.
If using a Service Account, you can revoke access to this data at any time by removing the Service Account from your YouTube Content Owner in YouTube Studio.
If permissions were granted during the log in process, you can revoke access at any time via the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
Retention of YouTube API Data
The Company will retain YouTube API Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
The Service will check if access to the YouTube API Data has been revoked at least every 30 days. If access to YouTube API Data been revoked, data will be deleted as soon as possible and no later than 7 days.
You can delete any and all YouTube API Data held by the Company by choosing the “Sign out and delete account along with all associated YouTube API Data” option while logged in to the Service. After choosing this option, data will be deleted as soon as possible and no later than 7 days.
Disclosure of YouTube API Data
Business Transactions
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, YouTube API Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before YouTube API Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
Law enforcement
Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose YouTube API Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).
Other legal requirements
The Company may disclose YouTube API Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
- Comply with a legal obligation
- Protect and defend the rights or property of the Company
- Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service

When you contact us for information about our services we will collect information about you such as your name and email address. If you have an account with us we may collect additional information from you such as your billing information, name, email address, dealership name, dealership website, phone number, lead capture email address, Google Analytics ID, and Inventory data feed.
Newsletters
If you choose to sign up to receive updates and news about our products or services we will use your email address to send those communications to you. If you wish to no longer receive these communications you can follow the unsubscribe instructions contained in the emails you receive or contact us at support[at]cartender.com.
Service Providers
We may provide your personal information to companies that provide services to help us with our business activities such as sending emails on our behalf or a billing. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us.
Sharing Personal Information
We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy policy.
We may disclose your personal information:

- if Cartender is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information,

Access to Personal Information
If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, delete/deactivate it by making the change on your account management page or by contacting us at support[at]cartender.com. We will respond to your request to access within 30 days.
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) on our order forms, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.
We use cookies for our order forms, to remember users’ login, user settings (e.g. language preference), for sign ups and authentication.
